Hope things are better in your neck of the woods. In Southern Ontario its been seemingly raining every day.
From a local newspaper:
“After unprecedented amounts of snow kicked off the year, the past two months are now the rainiest on record for the city.
Another thunderstorm yesterday left Toronto sloshing in 272 mm of rain for June and July, breaking the 1980 record of 271.5 mm.
All the wet stuff is also threatening to flush the record of 630 mm for the first seven months, set in 1945. By noon yesterday, 624 mm had fallen in the first seven months –and there’s rain in the forecast for today and Saturday.”
Needless to say, the weather has put a damper – pun intended – on many summer plans.
