Heads Up – Noctem Aeternus quarterly PDF magazine

This is a copy of an email I received for a new up and coming emag.  Feel free to pass the info on.

I wanted to test this list out before it gets too big. So, while
doing it I wanted to ask you a favor…

To keep this magazine FREE, I need to build the “circulation” up as
much as possible between now and January, 1, 2008.

Could you share the following information with everyone you think
would be interested in the magazine? Emails and word-of-mouth can go
a long way.

If you have blogs, websites, e-groups, e-lists, etc, please feel
free to post it as often and as long as you like.

A new fiction magazine will debut January 1, 2008.

Noctem Aeternus will be a FREE quarterly PDF magazine where the
reader will find science fiction, fantasy, western, or even mystery
stories…but all tales will have an element of horror.

“The horror genre sometimes gets a bad reputation for being the
shock jocks of the literary field,” Editor Michael Knost said. “You
can find plenty of blood and guts, but sometimes there is no story
among the gore. Noctem Aeternus will be a quality fiction magazine,
focusing on the story and its characters.”

The first issue will include a short story (and interview) from
master storyteller Ramsey Campbell. Ramsey Campbell is perhaps the
world’s most honored author of horror fiction. He has won four World
Fantasy Awards, ten British Fantasy Awards, three Bram Stoker
Awards, and the Horror Writer’s Association’ s Lifetime Achievement

Chapter 1 of Fatal Revenant Online!

WHC 2007

I need to collect my thoughts about the fantastic four days spent at the downtown Marriot but there is no doubt I had an excellent time.  From the panels fo the readings to meeting and networking with people it was all gold.

Some of the readings were fantastic – Mort Castle, Brian Keene, Tom Monteleone, Mike Arnznen, to name a few.  I’ll expand on this in the next few days as well as post a link to the pictures I took.

Awesome con – congrats to everyone involved!
