Pasta and Prose Night

Finally hooked up with Mike Kelly last night. He graciously went out of his way to pick me up and drive me down to the very bottom of downtown Toronto to meet with a bunch of local writers.

We had ample time to have great discussions on a number of topics, thanks to the rush hour traffic.

Once there we hooked up with a number of writers where even more breeze shooting and laughs were shared. Quite a bit of fun.

Cribbing off of Mike’s LJ entry – I need to write these names down for posterity and because I will never remember everyone there were:

Gemma Files – author of The Emperor’s Old Bones
Sephera Giron
Amanda Foubister, chairperson of World Horror Con 2007 to be held in Toronto on March 29 – April 1
Simon Strantzas
Donald Pulker
David Nickle – Karen (David’s better half)
Michael Rowe
Derek Sullivan
Phil and Diana Barron
Stephanie Bedwell-Grime
Stephen Barrington

Drinks were drunk, tales were told, food was consumed, deals were made;-) – none by me though, and praise and critiques exchanged.
