Zombie Western and ROTS CD/DVD

Finished Long Horn, Big Shaggy. It is quite a hoot with zombie cowboys, Indians, and various body parts, plus zombie buffalos. Gross and funny at the same time. At about 100 pages its something you could read in one or two sittings. I can honestly say I have never read anything like it before – and I mean that in a good way!

Picked up Springsteen’s latest CD which includes a bonus DVD as well. Have not had the opportunity to listen to it fully so an update will follow.

Also picked up The Revenge of the Sith soundtrack. The Prequel Trilogy may have many faults but John Williams’ music has never disappointed. This soundtrack is up there with Empire and A New Hope. Some brilliant tracks that if allowed to play unedited should add some gravitas to the pivotal moments of Anakin’s fall. I do not know if this is a new trend but this release includes a DVD as well. It contains 9 tracks of music highlighting moments from all six movies. Each piece is introduced by the Emperor himself – Ian McDiarmid. Here is another one of those veteran actors who can make the most mundane and trite piece of dialogue sound like Shakespeare profound itself. The music is great and the bonus DVD is an excellent addition. Highly recommended!

Glad you dug the novella, Lou. I had a lot of fun writing LONG HORN, BIG SHAGGY.
